Christmas: What’s Going On At Westbrook Mall

The Mean One, Santa, Toy Donations, Plus A Huge Contest!

It’s that time of year again, yay. Christmas is just over a month away, already, which means not only seeing family and getting gifts for cool people, but fun things to do with the kiddos. Westbrook Mall is hosting up some good stuff this year, check it out below. Don’t forget, they’re only a short walk from the Westbrook c-train station.

The Mean One On Tour

He’ll be traveling across Canada, and will be in Calgary at Westbrook Mall on November 22nd until the 24th! Bring the kiddos down to meet him and grab a photo together.

• November 22nd: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• November 23rd : 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
• November 24th: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM

SANTA IS COMING!!

Santa himself will be coming to Westbrook Mall! From November 29th until December 24th he’ll be at centre court on weekends. He’ll be feeding the reindeer between 2:00 PM – 2:30 PM 🙂

• Sunday – 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
• Christmas Eve – 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

95.9 CHFM Toy Angels

From November 18th until December 15th, 95.9 CHFM & CIR Realty are collecting new/unwrapped toys for children in need. In 2018 they collected around 70,000 toys, which is the highest number of toys in their 25 year history of doing this! Awesome! There’s a big donation bin at Westbrook Mall, right beside the Christmas display.

Spirit Of Giving

Guests at the Mustard Seed often spend very long and tiresome days on the streets, and thanks to this campaign can be offered a number of essential items to get clean, dry and warm.

Westbrook Mall is working together with (sponsors) to collect necessities such as hygiene products, socks and underwear for Calgary’s homeless population.  All donations will be received and distributed by the Mustard Seed in time for the January freeze.

Free Kids Crafts

By the pirate ship (you can’t miss it, beside food court) they’ll have free holiday crafts for the kiddos each week throughout December!

Contest: Win Your Westbrook Mall Holiday Wishlist!

That’s right, you can win your entire wishlist courtesy of Westbrook Mall. Go have a look through their list of stores and come up with something awesome.

Conclusion

Westbrook Mall is good times. They’re always doing stuff for kids and families. Happy to call it OUR mall!
