20. Smittys lounge westbrook mall and MacLeod locations have wings special everyday day of the week. They are 2.90 for a pound from 2-6 with the purchase of a beverage. Any other time of the day they are 4.90 with the purchase of a beverage. Only avaliable in the lounge.

    Errmmm ACTUALLY Calgary”s cheapest wings are found at Bonasera Pizza in Dover/Southview and their sister pub Bonasera Pizza North on Edmonton Trail.
    Bonasera South has Toonie Tuesdays: a dozen wings forr $2.00 . 4pm until 00:30am
    Bonasera North has 10c wings Mon/Wed/Sat
    4pm till 10:30pm . Very tasty

39. I challenge anybody to beat the wings at The Venue out in Cochrane. They can be ordered breaded or naked….and the sauce/dry rub selections are fantastic. I think there are around 40 choices and they can be mixed. I think the cost is 40¢/ wing…but I don’t even care as they are that good.
    I am so tired of places saying they are “known for their wings” only to find tiny, pathetic, dried-out wings that look like they came from a pigeon. Tons of the places on this list are like that. I know…I have tried them.
    The Venue has plump, juicy, huge wings! The place is packed and there is live music…best Wednesday wing deal I know of. Make the trip out to Cochrane ..you will not be disappointed.

41. Some more for the list: Fiddler’s courtyard have wings specials on Mondays and Wednesdays (35c a wing). Unicorn pub has 29c wings on Wednesday (on the top two levels). Bank and baron have 25c wings on Wed. Bear and Kilt freehouse also do Wednesday wings special, but can’t quite remember how much (not as cheap as the others). Garage Sports Bar do half price wings (and claim they are the best in Calgary but I beg to differ) which works out to $7/lb.
    We go for Wednesday wings very often so thanks for this post and map – it’s awesome! Going to try Pure kitchen and bar tonight!

    • Looks like they changed prices since I made this post. Same goes with Dixon’s, Joyce and Seanchie (all owned by the same group?). Regarding Windsor Pub, their website currently says it’s 35 cents on Mondays https://www.windsorrosepub.ca/specials/ – I’ll shoot them a message and confirm, and maybe they can update that. Thanks!

      • The Calgary Best Pubs group grew to 7 pubs. Joyce on 4th, Dixon’s Public House, Seanachie Pub, Limericks Pub, Donegals Pub, Kilkenny Pub, and one I can’t remember. CBP group was dismantled over the last 2 years. Some locations have changed name such as Donegals on 37st SW is now Dublin Calling. Others have kept the same name and menu. It appears that Seanachie, Kilkenny, Joyce, and Dixon’s have retained the same menu .(crappy wings and food)!

      Kilkennys does last call for wings at 11:30pm
      Bonesera Pizza in Dover, Side Street Pub in Kensington, and Black Bull pub in Hunterhoen are the only places that keep CONSISTENT kitchen tines and never “we closed early Bcuz no custoners” !

    • The owner Chris Balakis(?) is an absolute nightmare to work for! Yells and belittles servers and bartenders in front of customers-his policy for last paycheque is to carry it around on him making it impossible to get it-he knows if you can’t get it within 6 months he can rip it up! I would encourage everyone not to support any of his establishments! I worked there many years ago and the regulars at the bar started a pool to see how long I would last and put money on it cause they knew what a horrible employee Chris was!!
